Stevenage hosted Leyton Orient under the lights at the Lamex Stadium in a League One fixture that saw the visitors come from behind to take all three points.

Stevenage went ahead after 22 minutes when captain Carl Piergianni was brought down from a corner and Jamie Reid converted the resulting penalty. The home side controlled much of the opening period, but Leyton Orient found an equaliser just before half-time through Dom Ballard.

The second half shifted quickly in Orient’s favour. Ballard scored again ten minutes after the restart, heading in James Morris’ delivery to put the visitors 2–1 ahead. Stevenage made several changes as they searched for a response, while goalkeeper Filip Marschall was also called into action to prevent Orient extending their lead.

From a photography perspective, an evening fixture gives the gallery a different character from daytime coverage — darker stands, stronger separation under floodlights and more isolated player moments against the crowd. Alongside the action, I’d use the gallery to show reactions, player studies and the atmosphere around the touchline rather than presenting it purely as a sequence of match incidents.

Leyton Orient eventually closed out the 2–1 victory, with Ballard’s two goals completing the comeback after Reid’s early penalty
