Stevenage came from behind to beat Stockport County 2–1 at the Lamex Stadium, extending a strong run of home form in League One. Stockport took the lead through Adama Sidibeh in the 29th minute before Stevenage captain Carl Piergianni headed the hosts level six minutes later. Matt Phillips completed the turnaround after half-time, scoring his first goal for Stevenage in the 57th minute.

This was a useful fixture photographically because the game changed direction. Stockport controlled much of the possession, but Stevenage were clinical when their opportunities arrived. Despite having under 30% of the ball, Stevenage registered seven shots on target and ultimately took all three points.

Piergianni’s equaliser gave the home side an immediate response after Sidibeh’s opener, while Matt Phillips’ second-half goal became the decisive moment. Jamie Reid supplied the assist for the winner after Harvey White had helped start the move down the right.
